BUFFALO, NY — The Buffalo Sabres defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-1 Monday night at KeyBank Center. Sabres record is now 4-1-1.

Victor Olofsson led the way for Buffalo with two goals. Drake Kaggiula, Robert Hagg and Vinnie Hinostroza added single goals.

Craig Anderson, who was the first star of the game, stopped 35 of 36 shots fired at him by the Lightning.

The Sabres were outshot by the Lightning, 36-25.
