CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — ECAC Hockey has announced its women’s weekly award winners, and Danielle Serdachny (Colgate), Lucy Morgan (St. Lawrence), and Laura Fuoco (Dartmouth) have all been honored for the week ending October 31, 2021.

Player of the Week

Serdachny (Jr. – Edmonton, Alb.) earns her second Player of the Week honor of the young season after a five point (3-2) weekend to open ECAC Hockey play. She registered three points (1-2) in Friday’s 4-2 win over Dartmouth, including a shorthanded goal; her first of the season. She followed it up with two goals on Saturday, including the game-winner in overtime, lifting the Raiders to a 5-4 victory over No. 10 Harvard.

MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week

This is also the second weekly honor of the season for Morgan (Jr. – Mandan, N.D.), who was simply unbeatable this weekend. She posted back-to-back shutouts against RPI and Union to lead the Saints to a pair of wins and six league points. Even more impressively, the junior achieved this feat while facing 57 shots, making 32 saves at RPI and 25 at Union.

Rookie of the Week

Fuoco (Fr. – Mississauga, Ont.) was extremely impressive in her first weekend of collegiate action, registering five points (2-3) against a pair of nationally-ranked opponents. She posted a goal and assist in a 4-2 loss to No. 5 Colgate on Friday, scoring a highlight-reel tally on the power play. She followed that up with three points (1-2) in an upset 4-3 win over No. 9 Cornell on Saturday, giving the Big Green their first victory of the young season.
