(Rochester, NY) – The Rochester Americans announced today the team will hold a Food Drive during the week of Thanksgiving to benefit Foodlink, the regional food bank. The week-long Food Drive will take place beginning on Monday, Nov. 20 and will continue through Friday, Nov. 24 when the Amerks take on the Binghamton Devils at 7:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.
Fans are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items by dropping them off in collection bins throughout the week in front of The Blue Cross Arena Box Office, located in the lower atrium. The items will then be donated to Foodlink.
Any fan that donates two unopened, non-perishable food items in the Foodlink bins will be eligible to purchase “Buy One-Get One Free” tickets to the Amerks home game on Friday, Nov. 24 against Binghamton.
Over the next few weeks, members of the Amerks will assist Foodlink in sorting and packaging the donated food at their warehouse, located on Mt. Read Blvd. in Rochester.
Individual game tickets for the 2017-18 season start at just $14. Amerks Season Ticket Memberships, which start as low as just $12 per game, are on-sale now. The Amerks are also offering a variety of partial plans, including Half-Season Memberships and Flex Season Memberships with vouchers good for best available seating to any home game. All memberships are up to 40% off Box Office day of game pricing. For more information, visit www.amerks.com or call 1-855-GO-AMERKS.
