Amerks: Knapp Reassigned to Greenville

The Rochester Americans announced today that the Amerks have reassigned goaltender Connor Knapp to the Greenville Road Warriors of the ECHL.

Knapp, 23, appeared in 12 games with Greenville last season, posting a record of 5-7-0 with a 3.05 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage. The 6-foot-5, 215-pound netminder also appeared in seven American Hockey League games with the Amerks during the 2012-13 campaign, going 1-6-0 with a 3.34 goals-against average and a .893 save percentage. Prior to turning pro, the York, New York, native appeared in 84 games during his collegiate career with Miami (OH) University, posting a 46-22-11 record with a 1.94 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage.

Knapp was selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the sixth round (164th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
