(Rochester, NY) – The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has signed defenseman Collin Bowman to a professional tryout (PTO) contract.
Bowman, 24, has played in 42 games with the ECHL’s Colorado Eagles this year, recording 31 points (12+19) and 29 penalty minutes to rank fourth in scoring among all ECHL defensemen. In 225 career ECHL games with Colorado, Bakersfield and San Francisco, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound native of Littleton, Colorado, has registered 129 points (43+86) and 255 penalty minutes. Bowman has also appeared in 21 career AHL games with Iowa, collecting eight points (2+6) and 21 penalty minutes.
