(Rochester, NY) – The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has signed defenseman Collin Bowman to a professional tryout (PTO) contract.
Bowman, 24, has played in seven games with the Amerks this season and recorded one assist. He has also appeared in 46 games with the ECHL’s Colorado Eagles this year, recording 36 points (14+22) and 36 penalty minutes to rank fourth in scoring among all ECHL defensemen. In 229 career ECHL games with Colorado, Bakersfield and San Francisco, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound native of Littleton, Colorado, has registered 129 points (45+89) and 262 penalty minutes. Bowman has also appeared in 28 career AHL games with Rochester and Iowa, collecting nine points (2+7) and 21 penalty minutes.
