WEST POINT, N.Y. – Due to their outstanding performances on the ice for the 2019-20 season, Dominic Franco and Anthony Firriolo received Atlantic Hockey All-Conference honors, announced by the league. Franco was tabbed to the second team, while Firriolo was named to the All-Rookie squad.

“Dom has had an outstanding season,” said head coach Brian Riley. “He has proven to be a difference maker every time he has been on the ice. We are very proud of him and happy to see him receive league recognition.”

Franco garnered post season honors for the first time in his career after being a threat on both ends of the ice. The senior alternate captain led the team in points with 23 and posted a team best four power play scores.

The Portsmouth, R.I., native finished the regular season with 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 points. He boasts a +5 rating and made 32 blocks to rank fourth on the squad. Franco produced three multi-assist games this season and six multi-point contests.

“I am very happy to see Anthony receive recognition on this year’s All-Rookie Team,” said Riley. “He has had a stand out first year for us. There is no doubt that we are looking for big things from him in the coming years.”

Firriolo, who hails from Montville, N.J., was recognized on the All-Rookie Team after an exceptional freshman campaign.

The freshman scored three goals this season and added nine assists for 12 points. He had 21 blocked shots while finishing with a +6 rating. Firriolo had two multi-assist performances in 2019-20 and three multi-point performances.
