The New York Aviators headed into the Lockport NA3EHL Showcase looking to get some of their early season luster back and gather some momentum heading into the home stretch. Along the way the line combination of Daniel Backstrom, Jimmy Warrick and Dominick Sacco paid instant dividends to the tune of 41 points in three games and has lit the offensive fuse that will be needed heading into the postseason once they get there.
The Aviators play host to the Wilkes Barre Miners this weekend, a team that has slipped in the Division but has held their own and battled hard this season. New York will need to keep their foot on the gas if they plan on having any chance of a post season repeat of last years successfull Championship run.
