Beauts Drop First Game to Pride

The historic match-up of the Buffalo Beauts vs Boston Pride ended 4-1. The game was significant because these two teams met in the Isobel Cup Finals of the Inaugural Season of the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL).

Making their debut as Beauts, hailing from New York State, were Emily Janiga and Jaquie Greco. Both are from the Buffalo area with Janiga just coming off a great season with Mercyhurst and Greco coming from Syracuse University.janiga4greco25

Returning in her role as Captain is Getzville’s Emily Pfalzer. Pfalzer played for Boston College and was just named to the 2016 US Women’s National Team that will play in the 2016 Four Nations Cup November 1-5 in Finland.
