Rochester, New York – Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex announced today plans to host a charitable ice skating event to benefit the Open Door Mission of Rochester.The free event will take place on December 22nd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Iceplex, which is located on the campus of Monroe Community College. The event is open to the public and is free with a donation of canned goods, gently worn clothing or a winter coat.
“Open Door Mission is very excited about our new supporting partners at the Bill Gray’s Iceplex,” said Chris Scribani, Director of Communications for the Open Door Mission. “The Mission is all about ‘families helping families’. This event is a perfect fit for us. It allows families to come out for a some good healthy fun, donate food or clothing and give back to families that are in real need.”
