In additional to all of the amazing things going on at Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex, St. John Fisher College announced plans today to make Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex the home arena for the Cardinals Men’s Hockey program.
The team will call the Iceplex home in the 2017-18 season, conducting all practices and games at the 170,000 square foot sports facility located in Brighton N.Y.
“We’re extremely excited to call Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex our home,” said St. John Fisher College Head Coach Randy Smallridge. “The job done by the management team to renovate the arena has been remarkable, and we hope to call the Iceplex home for many years to come”.
St. John Fisher’s hockey program were the National Collegiate Hockey Association Champions in 2015, and two-time Upstate New York College Hockey League Western Conference Champions in prior years. Starting in the 2017-18 season, they will compete in the American Collegiate Hockey Association league.
