Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex, located on the Monroe Community College campus in Rochester, will be host to the Northern Educate Hockey Academy for the next five years.
The academy creates the best environment suited for teaching and developing hockey players, according to Craig Woodcroft, president of Hockey for Northern Educate.
Each day students receive three hours on the ice building their skill set and increasing their hockey I.Q.
“With over 500 hours of development each school year, there really is no limit to how good somebody can become,” said Woodcroft.
Northern Educate has an established hockey academy that provides a development program for student/athletes that incorporate the four principle characteristics of the program — Educatio, Hockey Skill Development, Athletic Development and Leadership Training.
