ROCHESTER, NY – Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex announced plans today to host one of their popular Try Hockey For Free events on November 12th from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. The event takes place at their 170,000 square foot multi-sport facility, which is located on the Monroe Community College campus.
The Iceplex runs multiple Try Hockey For Free events throughout the calendar year. These events are designed for children ages 5 to 9 to try ice hockey at no cost and in a positive environment focused on fun.
Participants are provided full equipment and skates at no cost and take to the ice for jam-packed, memorable experience. On-ice instruction is provided by the Iceplex Hockey staff, along with volunteer coaches and players from the local area.
A free post-event pizza party will be hosted for all participants.
No skating or hockey experience is required, however pre-registration is required for all participants as space is limited.
