BINGHAMTON, NY – The Binghamton Devils announced that the club has acquired forward Spencer Abbott from the San Diego Gulls in exchange for future considerations. The announcement was made by Binghamton Devils General Manager Tom Fitzgerald.
In 16 games this season with the Gulls, Abbott has six goals and 14 assists for 20 points. Abbott split the 2016-17 season between Rockford and San Diego and totaled 49 points (18 goals, 31 assists) in 69 games played.
Abbott has appeared in two NHL regular season games for Toronto and Chicago.
