BINGHAMTON, NY – The Binghamton Devils announced that the club has signed forward Brian Ward to a one year, American Hockey League contract. The announcement came today from Binghamton’s General Manager, Tom Fitzgerald.
Ward, 26, racked up 102 points (57 goals, 45 assists) and a plus/minus rating of +22 in 108 games played with the Adirondack Thunder. The Haverhill, MA native has lead the team in regular season goals for the past two years. During the 2017-18 playoffs, Ward helped the Thunder reach the Eastern Conference Final with 9 points (five goals, four assists) in 17 games.
The 6-foot-1, 202-pound forward appeared in two AHL games last season with the Providence Bruins, where he picked up an assist. Ward has collected two assists in 12 games throughout his professional career with Providence, Utica, Albany and Charlotte.
