BINGHAMTON, NY – The Binghamton Devils announced that the club has signed forward Kevin Morris and defenseman Dylan Olsen to Professional Tryout Contracts. The announcement was made today by Binghamton Devils General Manager Tom Fitzgerald.
Morris, 24, has played in 21 games this season for the Manchester Monarchs and recorded 16 points (nine goals, seven assists), along with 14 minutes in penalties. Last season, Morris appeared in two games with the Syracuse Crunch and 66 games with the Monarchs, registering 36 points (16 goals, 20 assists). The native of Massena, New York spend four years at Miami University and played 2011-12 for the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the United States Hockey League.
Olsen, 26, has 10 points (three goals, seven assists) with the Adirondack Thunder this season. The native of Calgary, Alberta saw 47 games with the American Hockey League’s Portland Pirates in 2015-16 and tallied 16 points (five goals, 11 assists). Olsen has played in 124 National Hockey League games for Chicago and Florida. Prior to his professional career, Olsen spent two years at University of Minnesota-Duluth and won the NCAA Championship in 2010-11.
