Brockport Tops Plattsburgh In Men’s Hockey; Fredonia and Geneseo Also Win

    Brockport tied a program record from 1980 with their fifth consecutive win to start a season with a 7-3 victory over visiting Plattsburgh as Andrew Harley (Brockport HS) had two goals and one assist with Jake Colosanti (Buffalo), Trevor Pray (Tonawanda), Ryan Romeo (Fairport) and Sam DiBetetto (Hilton) also adding goals.

    Sophomore David Sudbrink scored the game-winner with four seconds remaining in regulation as Fredonia came from behind to defeat Morrisville 2-1. Classmate Jake Blackwell had tied the game with a power play marker about halfway through the third period.

    Junior Tyson Gilmour had a three-point game with two goals as top-ranked Geneseo exploded for five third period tallies in an 8-0 shutout over Potsdam Saturday night.
