The Buffalo Regals Girls 14u and 4 other teams from New York, met in Rochester NY., for the Tier 1 State
Championship. The Regals would win 3 out of 4 games in round robin play, only to face Syracuse Nationals
in the finals. Syracuse took a 1 -0 lead early in the first period. Buffalo would answer back later in the period
and by the end of the second, the Regals would take the lead 2-1. With great defense and strong goaltending
Syracuse couldn’t find the back of the net. Buffalo would hold on and win their first 14u Tier 1 State Title. They
head to Boston for the National Tournament.
