The Buffalo Stars U16 Full Season Team will play a Charity exhibition game against the Buffalo Sabres Thunder team on Saturday, December 21st at Holiday Twin Rinks in Cheektowaga.  The game will be played as part of the Buffalo Stars Annual Christmas Party and Food Drive.
The Buffalo Sabres Thunder is an organization that provides male and female individuals with developmental disabilities a unique opportunity to play ice hockey.  The Mission of the Buffalo Sabres Thunder is to provide players the opportunity to feel they are part of a team by providing training in the game of ice Hockey.  Players experience the thrill of competition while having fun at the same time and this plays an important role in the development of their social skills.
The game will be played at 6:30pm following the Buffalo Stars Annual Family Skating Party and will be broadcast live on our UStream Internet Channel: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/buffalo-stars-junior-hockey%20
We are asking spectators to make a donation of non perishable food items for admission. Cash donations will also be accepted for the benefit of the Food Bank of WNY.
