BUFFALO, N.Y.— Senior Ryan Stayner (Youngstown, NY/Nichols) scored two goals and Ian Sylves (Sloan, NY/John F. Kennedy) made 25 saves as Buffalo State cruised to a 3-0 victory over visiting Neumann this evening in the Buffalo State College Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Cody Symonds (Woodbridge, ON/Emily Carr) also scored for the Bengals.
Jon Colley (Stouffville, ON/Stouffville District) finished with two assists for the game.
Anthony Passero (Fort Erie, ON/Lakeshore), Zach Remers (Clarence, NY/Canisius) and Hugo Petit (Chelsea, QC/CIH Academy) each added an assist in the game.
Buffalo State and Neumann matched each other shot for shot in the early minutes of the first period, until Stayner collected a rebound off the shot from Petit and buried it into the back of the net. Petit and Colley picked up assists on the play.
The Bengals outshot the Knights 12-6 in the second period and found themselves on two power plays but could not convert.
Buffalo State was finally able to break through as Stayner snuck in his second goal of the day past the goalie with 4:12 left in the third period. Remers and Passero each picked up assists.
Symonds added an insurance marker less than a minute later to finish off the Bengals scoring. Colley added his second assist on the goal.
Buffalo State finished with a 29-25 advantage in shots on goal.
