POTSDAM, N.Y.— Vadim Vasjonkin (Tallinn, Estonia) and Mac Wood (Simcoe, ON/SCS) scored a pair of goals apiece as Buffalo State rallied to erase a two-goal deficit to earn a 4-3 victory over host Potsdam this evening in SUNYAC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Potsdam scored a pair of first-period goals to take the early lead.
Vasjonkin scored his first of the season just over two minutes into the second period to cut the deficit in half, but Potsdam reclaimed the two-goal advantage just five minute later.
Buffalo State pulled back within one later in the frame with a power-play strike from Wood, and then Vasjonkin’s second of the game evened the score just 1:21 later.
Wood finally put the Bengals ahead with his second of the game and team-leading sixth of the season on the power-play with just under six minutes remaining in the third period.
Connor Minch (Manchester, NH/Manchester Central) made 26 saves in the win.
Buffalo State finished with a 33-29 advantage in shots and was 2 for 8 on the power play. Potsdam was 1 for 3 with the man-advantage.
Reid Bibb (Gaithersburg, MD/Gaithersburg) and Zach Remers (Clarence, NY/Canisius) chipped in a pair of assists each.
