Buffalo State freshman Emil Norrman (Kungsbacka, Sweden) was named the SUNYAC Men’s Hockey Goalie of the Week presented by PrestoSports after a strong performance in his first collegiate start.
The freshman business major stopped 36 of 37 shots faced (.973 save percentage) in his first collegiate start on Saturday, backstopping the Bengals to a 2-1 overtime victory over visiting Nichols College.
Buffalo State does not play again until Nov. 15 when it will open SUNYAC play at Potsdam.
