SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Buffalo State freshman forward Tristin Stetson (Anchorage, AK/West) has been selected the Northeast Women’s Hockey League’s Rookie of the Week.
The early childhood education major scored in Buffalo State’s 3-2 loss against Potsdam on Friday, and then netted the overtime game-winner and added an assist in the Bengals’ 4-3 victory over Canton on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Stetson has six goals in her rookie campaign, including a goal in each of her last four games.
Buffalo State will next travel to Potsdam for a 7 p.m. faceoff on Friday.
