Buffalo State’s Wood Named To Men’s Hockey All-SUNYAC

CORTLAND, N.Y.—The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its All-Conference teams for men’s ice hockey today and Buffalo State senior Mac Wood (Simcoe, ON/SCS) was named to the third team.

Wood, a senior economics major, led the Bengals in scoring with 23 points in 26 games played, including eight goals and 15 assists. Three of his goals came on the power play, and he tallied 14 points in 16 conference games. Wood finished his career ranked 11th in school history with 77 points (40 goals and 37 assists) in 100 career games.

Buffalo State finished 11-13-2 overall and qualified for the SUNYAC playoffs for the ninth-consecutive season. The Bengals lost in the quarterfinals against Fredonia, 3-2, in overtime.
