WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rensselaer men’s hockey alum Erik Burgdoerfer ’10 is scheduled to make his National Hockey League debut on Monday night when the Buffalo Sabres visit the Washington Capitals. Burgdoerfer, who played four years for the Engineers, has spent the last six seasons in the AHL and ECHL, before getting the call up.
