The most decorated goalie in the school’s history, 2014 Canisius graduate Tony Capobianco (Mississauga, Ontario) has been invited to participate in the Philadelphia Flyers Development Camp.
The six-day camp began Thursday, July 10 at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey. It will bring together many Flyers of tomorrow, with the organization’s young prospects gathering for five days of drills and instruction along with the annual Trial on the Isle in Stone Harbor, New Jersey on Monday, July 14.
Capobianco enjoyed a record-breaking career in his four seasons at Canisius. He finished his tenure in March with school records in saves (3,061), save percentage (.920), goals against average (2.71) and shutouts (eight).
