Buffalo State’s Carnes Named ECAC West Women’s Hockey Player of the Week
Buffalo State senior center Courtney Carnes (Winslow, ME/Winslow) was named the ECAC West Women’s Hockey Player of the Week after helping lead the Bengals to a pair of conference wins at Chatham on the weekend.
Carnes netted a goal and an assist in Saturday’s 4-1 victory over the Cougars, and then picked up another goal and an assist in Sunday’s 5-0 whitewash. Carnes leads the Bengals with four goals and eight points in six games this season.
