Clarence/Amherst/SweetHome upset Kenmore/Grand Island 5-2 on the host’s Senior Night.
CASH opened the scoring 8 seconds into the first period off the stick of Charleigh Rondeau, unassisted.
CASH continued scoring with two more in the first from Emma Faso and Kylie Nelson. First ends 3-0.
CASH had the only score in the second period, scored by Sara Barrett, assisted by Emma Faso and Caroline Yoder. Yoder also took the assists for the two goals in the first period.
Faso opened the scoring for CASH in the third but Kenmore/Grand Island was not going to let their senior night end with a shut out for the opponent. Kaylynn Savoy scored at 13:15 of the third, assisted by Emiliana Cassilo and then Emma Faso sunk one with 6 seconds left in the third. The contest ended 5-2 in favor of CASH.
