Raiders Auctioning Off Jerseys

All Proceeds Will Go to Hockey Coaches Care and Silver Puck Club

 

HAMILTON – The Colgate men’s hockey team will be auctioning off its game-worn home jerseys from this season and fans can bid on them now.

 

The bidding for each jersey starts at $150 and fans can bid in $10 increments. The bidding has already started and will go through until the end of the month. The jerseys will then be shipped following the closing of the auction once Colgate athletics receives payment through the auction site.

 

The proceeds for the jersey auction will go to Hockey Coaches Care and the Silver Puck Club. Hockey Coaches Care is the official charitable foundation of the American Hockey Coaches Association. It was created by hockey coaches to assists members of the amateur hockey community in the United States. The foundation is designed to help a coach or family member or other member of the greater amateur hockey community who is ill or injured in an accident or who has lost a job or has come upon hard times.

 

The Silver Puck Club is the principal fundraising arm of the men’s hockey program, which exists for the betterment of the men’s hockey program and Colgate University as a whole.
