Colgate Head Coach Don Vaughan
(On game)
“We were not very good tonight and they were really on their game. We just couldn’t get anything going. You have to give them credit. They had a game plan, they stuck to it and they were better than us tonight.”
(On carryover from last season’s ECAC semifinal contest)
“There was none of that tonight from our end. I don’t know if there was anything in their locker room. I doubt that. It’s a new season. We didn’t mention it once. We were just trying to play our game.”
(On preparing for Princeton)
“The thing now is we have to get beyond some injuries. We have to get guys who did not dress tonight motivated to come in and contribute right away. Maybe we can feed off some of that new energy in the lineup tomorrow.”
