HAMILTON – For her outstanding performance throughout the month of January, first-year goaltender Kayle Osborne has been named the ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Month.

MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Month: Michelle Pasiechnyk (Clarkson)
Adirondack Health Rookie of the Month: Kayle Osborne (Colgate)
Osborne started all eight contests for the Raiders and helped Colgate finish January with a 6-2 record. She recorded 190 saves and had a stellar .955 save percentage. Osborne allowed just 1.12 goals per game and also had two shutouts. She currently ranks No. 7 nationally in goals against average with 1.42 per game.
For the week of Jan. 11, Osborne won both ECAC Goaltender of the Week and Rookie of the Week after she tallied 42 saves and allowed just one goal in the Raiders’ sweep of then-No. 10 Quinnipiac on Jan. 9-10.

The No. 5 Raiders will take on No. 8/9 Clarkson in a non-conference home-and-home series which begins at 5 p.m. Friday in the Class of 1965 Arena. The series will conclude at 4 p.m. Sunday in Potsdam, N.Y.
