CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — ECAC Hockey has announced its women’s weekly award winners, and Keely Moy (Harvard), Rory Guilday (Cornell), and Amanda Rampado (RPI) have all been honored for the week ending October 24, 2021.
Player of the Week
Moy (Sr. – San Diego, Calif.) got her senior season off to a RED hot start this past weekend, registering six points (3G, 3A) in two games for the Crimson. In Friday’s season-opener, she scored twice, including a short-handed goal, and added an assist to help Harvard pick up three league points against Dartmouth. She followed it up with another three-point (1-2) outing on Saturday in a 6-2 win over Saint Anselm.
MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week
There was no doubt that Rampado (Jr. – Stoney Creek, Ont.) was taking home her second Goalie of the Week honor of the season after an impressive showing this weekend. The senior allowed just two goals on 68 shots against Boston University and No. 9/10 Providence, helping the Engineers to a pair of big non-league wins. She was particularly impressive in Saturday’s game against the Friars, making 42 saves in her second career shutout.
Rookie of the Week
Guilday (Fr. – Chanhassen, Minn.) registered a point in both games for Cornell this weekend, helping the Big Red pick up a split against Mercyhurst. The defender registered an assist in a 3-2 loss on Friday, and scored the first goal in Saturday’s 4-0 win. She was also outstanding defensively, and was not on the ice for a goal-against all weekend.
