Statement from Cornerstone CFCU Arena regarding COVID-19
With increasing restrictions on public gatherings and guidance at the federal, state, and local levels (including the suspension of hockey and figure skating events locally and nationally), Cornerstone CFCU Arena is temporarily ceasing operations at the facility effective today, Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 5:00PM.
Cornerstone CFCU Arena staff has been diligently observing heightened cleaning and sanitizing protocols to prevent the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus. Authorized overtime for that purpose was approved over a week ago. To ensure maximum safety for everyone that visits our arena and our community, we will use this time to coordinate with local health officials and the many organizations that rely on the Arena, to determine the best time and manner to resume operations.
The Penalty Box is not affected by this closure. For questions regarding their hours of operation please contact them directly.
