Former SUNY Potsdam men’s hockey player Billy Pascalli ’16 (Deer Park, N.Y./New York Bobcats) has earned a spot on the 2017 U.S. National Inline Team. The feat earns Pascalli a trip to Bratislava, Slovakia for the International Ice Hockey Federation World Championship.
The 16-team championship will be played from June 25 – July 1. Team USA is in Group A of Top Division along with Canada, Slovakia and Croatia. The Americans have a record six gold medals in the tournament’s history and have medaled 14 times overall.
In 92 games over his four seasons with the Bears, Pascalli scored 28 goals and recorded 80 assists. He helped guide Potsdam to three playoff appearances.
