Dutchwomen Come UP Short Against Harvard

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Union College women’s hockey team came up short against Harvard, 4-0 in ECAC Hockey action, Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a scoreless opening period, the Crimson opened their account 1:10 into the second to take a 1-0 lead into the final 20 minutes of play.
Harvard put the game away with a trio of goals within a minute late in the final period to secure the victory.
Despite the result, Union outshot the Crimson, 34-31, and won the faceoff battle, 34-21, for the game. Junior goaltender Amelia Murray recorded 27 saves in net for the Dutchwomen.

Union return to the ice Friday, Dec. 7, hosting Quinnipiac to kick off a weekend of ECAC Hockey competition, with the puck set to drop at 6:00 p.m. (ET).
