Eight Buffalo State Hockey Players Earn AHCA All-American Scholar Honors

The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) is once again recognizing varsity ice hockey players who attained a 3.6 GPA each semester and participated in 40% of their school’s games in the 2018-19 season as “Krampade” All American Scholars. Five members of Buffalo State’s women’s team and three member of hte Bengals’ men’s team earned the honor.

The women’s honorees were:
Natasha Steinle (Jr., Forward) – Fall GPA – 4.00/Spring GPA – 3.94 – Major: Business
Kira Herkey (So., Forward) – Fall GPA – 3.88/Spring GPA – 4.00 – Major: Childhood Education
Gianna Brigante (Fr., Forward) – Fall GPA – 3.73/Spring GPA – 3.86 – Major: Speech Pathology
Emma Ruggiero (Sr., Forward) – Fall GPA – 3.73/Spring GPA – 3.73 – Major: Health & Wellness
Angelina Cruzal (Fr., Forward) – Fall GPA – 3.68/Spring GPA – 3.60 – Major: Writing

The men’s honorees were:

Mac Wood (Sr., Forward) – Fall GPA – 4.00/Spring GPA – 3.89 – Major: Economics
