Elmira’s Kuehberger Named NEHC Goaltender of the Week

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) announced its weekly awards for games played through Sunday, November 7. Elmira College teammates Emma Crocker ’21 (Abington, Mass.) and Leonie-Louise Kuehberger ’25 (Hingham, Mass.) earned Player and Goaltender of the Week honors respectively. Liz Kramp (Farmington Hills, Mich.) of UMass Boston was named Rookie of the Week.

(Freshman, Goaltender – Hingham, Mass.)
In one game this weekend, Kuehberger made 19 saves in the net to preserve the shutout and win against Southern Maine on Saturday. With the shutout, Kuehberger has increased save percentage to .971 in just two games.
 
Kuehberger, who earned her first win in net on October 30th against Utica, started on Saturday for EC and earned her second victory and first shutout of her career.
