The first week of Western New York Girls Varsity Ice Hockey play has come to a close with Monsignor Martin beating Clarence/Amherst/SweetHome 3-0 on Wednesday evening. While they were playing Williamsville travelled to Skaneateles and came away with a 7-0 loss.
At Northtowns Monsignor Martin’s Alexandria Franke had the game winning goal, scored early on in the first period on an assist by Mia Boyd. Then is was Grace Russo with a goal and Carys Popat with a goal and Honadle on the assist.
