NHL Network is Exclusive TV Home of Tournament in the U.S.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – With Team USA in Edmonton preparing for the 2021 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship, fans will be able to experience more of the tournament than ever before this year as NHL Network will carry all 28 games of the championship live, in addition to every pre-tournament game. 

Action starts for Team USA on Sunday (Dec. 20) when it faces Switzerland at 6 p.m. ET in the first of two pre-tournament games. For Team USA’s full schedule, click here

The 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship officially begins on Christmas Day (Dec. 25) with three games, including Team USA’s matchup with rival Russia at 9:30 p.m. ET. Action concludes on Jan. 5 with the bronze and gold-medal game. 

All games of the tournament are being played without fans at Rogers Arena in Edmonton. Stephen NelsonDave Starman and Jill Savage will call all Team USA preliminary and medal round games throughout the championship. NHL Network will air a special tournament preview show on Sunday, Dec., 24, at 6 p.m. ET, hosted by Tony Luftman with analysis from E.J. Hradek and Starman, preceded by the re-airing of Team USA’s last three gold medal-winning games (2010, 2013, 2017) starting at 10 a.m. 

Throughout the tournament, NHL Network’s NHL Tonight will include comprehensive previews, highlights, analysis and interviews. In addition to the television coverage, fans can enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage of Team USA online at TeamUSA.USAHockey.com/worldjuniors2021 and on USA Hockey’s social media channels.

In addition, the Twitter account of USA Hockey Magazine will be giving away some fun prizes throughout the tournament through its annual trivia contest on game days.
