OSWEGO, N.Y. – Four members of the Oswego State Women’s Ice Hockey program have been named to the fifth annual American Hockey Coaches Association (ACHA) Krampade All-American Scholar Team.   Lakers Rachel Brase, Joanna Hiebert, Aislinn McAleer, and Bryn White were all named to the 2020-21 squad.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.6 GPA for each semester, regardless of whether the school’s hockey team was able to play last season or not.  Normally, a student-athlete is required to participate in a minimum of 40% of a team’s games.  AHCA executive director Joe Bertagna noted that “those who were denied a chance to compete have already been disadvantaged and we did not want to add to their situation.”

Women’s Ice Hockey will look to build off of their successful 2019-20 campaign where they finished 16-7-4 and made an appearance in the conference Championship game.
