After surrendering the first goal of the game, top-ranked Geneseo stormed back with six unanswered goals and defeated UMass-Boston 6-2 to advance to the championship game of the Utica Thanksgiving Tournament against the Pioneers, who are ranked second in the nation. Peter Morgan netted a pair of goals for the Knights to maintain his team scoring lead. Fairport native Chris Peters scored one goal for UMass-Boston to stay atop the Beacons scoring list.
