BUFFALO, N.Y. (January 15, 2014) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced they will be selling a limited number of special edition stuffed otters, known as “Ott’s Otters”, with an autograph from Sabres forward Steve Ott. The stuffed otters, each one wearing an Ott jersey, come with a card autographed by the Sabres captain. All proceeds will directly benefit the Buffalo Zoo.
“I think this program is a great way for our fans to show their love of the Sabres while supporting such an important community asset in the Buffalo Zoo,” Ott said. “As a big animal lover, I’m excited to be involved in a program that will help raise money and awareness for the Buffalo Zoo.”
Buffalo Zoo president and CEO Donna Fernandes is excited to have the support of the Buffalo Sabres.
“We welcome the initiative and involvement of Captain Steve Ott and we are thrilled that two beloved Buffalo organizations can work together for the good of the Zoo and the community,” Fernandes said.
Ott’s Otters will be sold for $25 prior to the Sabres-Blue Jackets game on Jan. 18 at First Niagara Center or can also be purchased at the Sabres Store.
Also available for purchase will be 50 VIP Ott’s Otter packages for $125 each, which includes the following:
