The WNY Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Season opened Thursday with three games.
Orchard Park/Frontier and Lancaster had the first game on the schedule and began the opener for the season. The opening game scheduled for Tuesday was postponed.
In openers:
Williamsville beat Amherst/Sweethome 4-2
Monsignor Martin beat Kenmore 2-0
Orchard Park/Frontir took Lancazster 13-0.
