UTICA, NY- Junior Keira Goin (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Hotchkiss School) of the Utica College women’s hockey team was named the ECAC West Conference Goalie of the Week for the second straight week.
Goin set a new single-season program record with five shutouts this season as she stretched her shutout streak to four games with a 4-0 victory over Morrisville on Wednesday. Her streak lasted 268:25, before Williams was able to find the back of the net on Saturday. She totaled 46 saves as Utica went 1-1 on the week and is currently sixth nationally with a .959 save percentage.
The Pioneers have jumped out to a great start to their 2015-16 campaign as they sit at 9-3-1 (5-2-1 ECAC West)… Utica returns to action on Jan. 10 as it hosts Norwich University.
