Senior Keira Goin (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Hotchkiss School) of the Utica College women’s hockey team was named the ECAC West Goalie of the Week, Monday.
Goin made 27 saves to help Utica to a 3-2 win over visiting Morrisville State in the Pioneers’ 5th annual Gold Ribbon Game for childhood cancer awareness on Saturday. She also held the Mustangs scoreless on four power play chances. On the year, she holds a 1.42 goals against average and .942 save percentage.
Utica wraps up the first semester of play on Sunday as it travels to Lebanon Valley. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
