Nov. 24: St. Lawrence University goaltender Kyle Hayton was named the ECAC Goaltender of the Week and the American Sports Network’s college hockey Player of the Week after his performance at Princeton and Quinnipiac.
Hayton stopped 72 of 73 shots on the weekend, beating Princeton 5-1 on Friday and battling Quinnipiac to a scoreless tie on Saturday. It was the first scoreless tie in Saint program history and Hayton’s seventh career shutout, just two short of Bill Sloan’s career record of nine.
