The Hudson Valley Community College hockey team (4-5) defeated Vermont Club 1-0 on Saturday evening.
The Vikings scored in the first period off a pass from Andrew Feder (South Windsor/South Windsor, CT) to Troy Bennett (Mohonasen/Rotterdam), and that’s all they would need to capture the win. Nate Muller (Bellows Free Academy/Highgate, VT) held strong in goal to record the shutout with 23 saves.
The hockey team travels to play RPI club tomorrow at 1 p.m.
