Iroquois JV Playing Best Hockey of Year

With the JV Hockey season winding down the JV Chiefs are officially playing their best hockey of the year.  The young Chiefs dominated the Eden/Lakeshore team on Friday night 9-2 by way of controling all phases of the game.  Individually, Alex Held continued his hot streak scoring a hat trick with help from Cameron Ellis and Owen Greene.  Scoring his first goal of the year was Max Testa with great aid from Ryan Coulombe and newly appointed center Jamie Bonn.  Playing perhaps his best game of the year was Owen Creighton.  He was a force offensively and defensively.
Impressive as the win was on friday night, the coaching staff was excited to see the boys maturity and selflessness on display.  From taking only one penalty in the game to the support of one another on the bench it was a fantastic site to witness.  The attempts to set up Zach and Ryan Coulombe with goals were amazing examples of a team that not only wants to win but wants everyone to enjoy in the success.  Winning or losing doesn’t matter in the long run really…what matters is how you play the game.  Right now the JV Chiefs are playing the right way.
