BROOKLYN – The New York Islanders home-opener for the 2016-17 season will take place at Barclays Center on Sunday, Oct. 16 against the Anaheim Ducks.
Coming off the franchise’s most successful season in years, captain John Tavares will lead his team onto the ice against the defending Pacific Division champions from Anaheim.
