ELMIRA, N.Y. — For the second week in a row, the Elmira College women’s ice hockey team placed two student-athletes on the D3hockey.com National Team of the Week, as Maddy Jerolman ’19 and Meg Lahey ’19 were each honored for their efforts in EC’s two-game sweep of Utica.
Jerolman, the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Player of the Week, was included on the Team of the Week for the first time this season, while Lahey made her second consecutive appearance on the list.

A fourth-year forward from Hamden, Connecticut, Jerolman collected four points (2g-2a) in a pair of multi-point performances against the Pioneers. She scored twice in Elmira’s 5-2 victory on Friday, February 8, by netting the game’s first goal at 1:40 in the first period and sparking a 4-0 run by tying the score at 2-all in the second period. In a 6-1 triumph on Class of 2019 Recognition Day the following afternoon, the senior handed out two assists. Jerolman’s first helper led to a power-play tally and represented the 100th point of her career as a Soaring Eagle.

Lahey repeated on the D3hockey.com National Team of the Week after racking up a team-high-tying five points (1g-4a) in the sweep of the Pioneers. The Latham, New York, native tied season highs for points (3) and assists (3) in Friday’s win. On Saturday, the blueliner scored once on the power play and dished out her team-leading 24th assist of the year. Over the two games combined, Lahey skated with a plus-five rating.
